The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. The National Park covers an area of 300 square kilometers, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometers.
The greatness of the Plitvice Lakes you can divide the complex into the Upper Lakes and the Lower Lakes separated by a long lake called Jezero Kozjak. The harmony of the 16 lakes and their rare natural and cultural value is not only famous throughout Croatia and they found its place on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites. Up on our arrival at Plitvice, we’ll walk through these ancient woodlands led by our experienced guide. The path will take us across Gornja Jezera, and then it’s time for a magical boat ride to Donja Jezera.
The roaring thunder of the water as it hits the ground from 78 meters high waterfalls its amazing. Our tour will end with a panoramic train ride. Afterwards we will advice you with the restaurant where you can have lunch and then we will return with beautiful memories.
